dc.description.abstract The main goal of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Skukuza Alliance arts and crafts project and the impact it has to its participants. Its objectives stand as follows To gain insight into the issues, problems and challenges associated with development of community economic empowerment projects. Review relevant literature on this subject and other related topics. Identify crisis points to be overcome and requirements for survival and effectiveness associated with each development stage. Identify reasons for failure in these kinds of projects and small businesses in general. To examine and discuss specific issues and management challenges for community economic empowerment projects, considering possible approaches, tools and techniques that could be applied to overcome problems and manage these more effectively. Finally, to make recommendations according to the findings of the study. en_US
